At Africa Strong, we pride ourselves on our ability to deliver measurable results. Since 2018 have achieved several accomplishments at Rwemiyenje Primary School, including reducing absenteeism from 40% to 5% by building and renovating teacher housing. We also built an eco-friendly kitchen to provide warm meals to over 700 students, expanded our dormitory capacity by 50%, and established a library with over 2,000 storybooks. In addition, we donated 25 Chromebooks to Rwemiyenje Primary School. As a result of our efforts, enrollment has increased by over 200 students, and student performance has improved on the Primary Leaving Exam. During the COVID school closure, we provided Home Study materials to ensure continuity of education. We also provided reusable menstruation kits to 60 female students to remove barriers to their education.
